There are many exciting events happening in the area throughout the year. In January the Yass Touch Knockout has been on the calendar for over three decades and the Yass Winter Fair is on in June. The Irish and Celtic Music Festival is held in September every year to celebrate all things Irish and in November the Dragon Dreaming Festival is a popular event in Yass.
