Moree Multicultural Festival
Moree Multicultural Festival was the Winner of Prestigious Local Government Cultural Awards 2006 'Delivering Culture' Culutral Programs / Projects Moree is located in the Far North West of NSW and boasts a 'Mediterranean' climate, warm hospitality, great Indigenous cultural heritage and very comfortable and affordable accommodation. Main events will take place on Friday with an Official Opening Multicultural Dinner and the festival will conclude with a Carnivale on Sunday. During the week flags from all Nationalities resident within the Shire will be flown in Balo Street. The Festival theme - 'Songs & Dances' and a "Circ d verse" circus for young people/students. These workshops will take place during the July school holidays and full performances on Saturday 3 October. Come and join in a week to be remembered.
