About Warren

The Warren Shire is centred on the town of Warren, which is the administrative centre and also encompasses the villages of Nevertire and Collie.

There are a number of events to keep locals busy throughout the year. Some of these are the Warren Polocrosse Carnival in June, the Warren Campdraft Weekend in August, the Nevertire Rodeo in September and the Cotton Cup Race Meeting in November,

The Sporting and Cultural Centre Complex caters for indoor sports including basketball, volleyball, cricket and netball. The centre is located alongside an oval where Little Athletics, rugby league, rugby union, soccer, touch football and cricket are played. Other sporting facilities include a golf course, bowling club, tennis and squash courts, swimming pool, gun club, pony and polo cross clubs and a racecourse complex.

There are several options for pre-school in Warren after which children can attend the Catholic primary school or the Warren Central School (K-12). At the tertiary level there is a branch of the Western Institute of TAFE in Warren.

The Warren Hospital (multi purpose health service) has a number of features. The Family Health Centre has doctors and visiting specialists, dentist and there is an aged care facility.
