There are literally dozens of events and celebrations in this historic Shire. Some of them are the Carcoar Village Fair celebrating the establishment of the third village west of the mountains on Australia Day every year. Celebrate winter with the Winter Solstice Festival in June and the Blayney & Villages Winter Wonderland which runs from late June until the end of July and in November, the very famous Carcoar Cup Running Festival is held.
